Compare patterns without pretending they are proof
TubeCrisp connects passage-level content signals with public video performance so creative differences stay visible and inspectable.
What is measured inside each video
Videos are divided into timed transcript passages. The selected signals are evaluated consistently across those passages, then summarized so videos and channels can be compared on the same basis.
Drama
Pressure, stakes, emotional punch, vulnerability, confrontation, or consequence in the moment.
Personal Stakes
How strongly the passage makes the topic feel personally consequential: choices, fears, identity, relationships, health, money, status, the future, regrets, daily behavior, or sense of self.
Conflict
Disagreement, controversy, politics, opposition, accusations, debate, or people pushing against each other.
Useful
Learning, clarity, evidence, dense information, or a practical change in understanding.
Big Ideas
Philosophy, identity, values, worldview, awe, or why the moment matters beyond the literal facts.
Surprise
Expectation breaks, novelty, sudden turns, myth-busting, or moments that reframe what the viewer assumed.
Humor
Jokes, wit, charm, absurdity, comic timing, or socially playful moments.
Reality / Possibility
Where the passage sits between current reality, history, a problem, or an old belief and a future, solution, new belief, or better possibility.
What is compared
Creator views can compare videos within one channel or compare selected channels. Public outcomes such as likes per view, views per day, likes per day, and total views help define stronger and weaker groups. Video length can be aligned by percentage or by actual minutes.
Keep comparisons like with like
A useful comparison needs a sensible cohort. Shorts and long-form videos, new uploads and old catalog videos, or unrelated formats can behave differently for reasons outside their content. Filters are there to reduce those differences before interpreting a pattern.
Patterns are prompts for investigation
A relationship between a metric and performance does not prove that the signal caused the result. Audience size, topic, packaging, timing, distribution, and many other factors remain involved. TubeCrisp therefore keeps comparisons connected to the videos and exact passages behind them.
Turn a pattern into a test
Treat a visible difference as a working hypothesis: inspect representative passages, describe the creative choice in plain language, and test it in comparable future videos. Repeated evidence inside your own channel is more useful than a generic rule presented as certainty.
